Provoke the Privacy Badger!

This tiny page will help you whitelist (or otherwise change the blocking status of) domains in the EFF's Privacy Badger extension. It is particularly useful for bookmarklets like Instapaper's which auto-detect when they're blocked and bring you to a new page, leaving you unable to adjust the Privacy Badger settings.

  1. Type the domain you want to whitelist ↴
  2. Open the Privacy Badger control panel. Toggle the privacy sliders for the domain(s) you want until they are green and the presence of an undo arrow (on the right) indicates a manual change, like this: Example showing Instapaper unblocked in the Privacy Badger control panel

How does this work?

Clicking the button above inserts an <iframe> into the page that points to the domain you typed in. Loading the <iframe> triggers Privacy Badger's detection and lets you adjust the settings for the domain in the control panel.
